Saabou is a Senegalese cosmetics house. Thiossane, our body ritual with bissap and baobab, is its first collection.
Roots
Thiossane, in Wolof, speaks of tradition, culture, everything handed down to us. Saabou takes that word seriously: familiar West African ingredients, treated with the care of contemporary cosmetics.
Made in Saly
Our formulas are developed and produced in Saly, Senegal. Short batches, controlled sourcing, and gestures designed for a real day rather than a laboratory brochure.
Ingredients we know
Bissap, baobab, okra and hibiscus are part of everyday life here. We work with them because we know them, not because they read well on a label.
Transmission
Saabou Academy teaches formulation and cosmetic manufacturing. Passing on the craft is part of the brand, not a side activity.
